Ladies and Gentlemen quarantining all over the world. Gather round and tune into a brand new, germ free, fresh episode of Conversations From A Room. And what a special episode it is, for I get to sit down with not one, but two very excellent, artistic, and inspiring human beings. Long time friend Joshua Jean-Baptiste, and new best friend Frank Hernandez. The best part about talking with these guys is that we’re all just big clowns who are super passionate about the arts. We talk about our process on how to communicate to the audience, the seriousness of a good joke, and the grit we need   in order to push through. Also we discuss the importance in speaking the “truth” in any art form. It’s the only way in really connecting to the audience. And as always, we go hard on film and the movies that matter to us. Today I get to sit down with an all around amazing and talented dude, Josh Gilmer ladies and gentlemen! Josh and I right away had so much to discuss considering we are one of the same. We both have an incredible passion for the world of cinema and the the art of performing. Growing up in a small town Josh new he was ready to break out of his shell and hit the big leagues. We’re talking Hollywood baby! Acting wasn’t the first thing Josh imagined he’d be taking as a career path but he fell in love with the craft and has been pursuing it ever since. We talk about the pressure working on film sets, preparing for a role, committing to your work, and completely trusting yourself to get the job done even if doubt carries a heavy toll.
